BENGALURU: US-Based flexible office space providerKovorkshas partnered with city-basedMarvel Infrabuildto set up the largest co-working facility in India with a capacity of around 25000 desks.
The proposed luxury co-working facility inWhitefieldmain road, will be spread over 15,000,00 sft. Kovorks currently operates flexible offices across 7 locations in the US and Malaysia.
“India’s co-working segment has seen remarkable growth in recent years and is now a catalyst of sorts for modern workspaces. We desire to create a new design for workspaces and disrupt the conventional office leasing demand and supply equation. The goal is to change the language ofcommercialreal estate booking from per-square-foot to per-seat-per-desk”, said Mallikharjuna Upputuri, Director of Kovorks India.
In the first phase Marvel plans to add 1,60,000 sft, of flexible space in Whitefield. The second phase totalling to 1.5 mm sft will be completed by 2023.
Additionally, Marvel Infrabuild plans to develop 3 mn sqft of commercial space targeting Co-working and Coliving operators in the next 3 to 5 years under the brand nameMarvel Innovminds.
