SC asks NBCC to call tenders for two Amrapali projects valued at Rs 1,046 crore

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court (SC) of India under chairmanship of LD Court Receiver has asked National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) India to call tenders for two more Amrapali Group projects valued at Rs 1,046 crore.


The projects- Leisure Park phase 1 & 2 and Kingswood in Amrapali Smart City have about 4,489 units. These are situated in Noida and Greater Noida.



In March, NBCC was asked to call tenders for eight Amrapali projects i.e. Leisure Valley, Leisure Villa, Leisure Verona, Adarsh Awas Yojana, Golf Homes, Dream Valley phase-1 Villas, phase 2 & Enchante, Terrace Homes and Tropical Garden in Centurian and Crystal Homes in Silicon City.


These projects are valued at 5,769 crore and have 27,223 housing units in total.


Tendering process for all these projects are in progress. Four tenders for Golf Homes, Centurian, Leisure Valley Villas, Crystal homes have already been floated, NBCC said in a tweet.


Apart from this, NBCC has recently started execution of seven projects in Noida and one project in Greater Noida having 12,169 units valuing Rs 634 crore which will be completed in stages in 12-24 months.


SC in 2019 had asked NBCC to execute two-stalled projects of Amrapali Group to begin with, namely Eden Park in Noida and Castle in Greater Noida comprising 618 houses, which NBCC has already completed & handed over.
